Issue description
UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_4) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3239.132 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open any file in the Dev Tools Source File Editor
2. Search for a single character that appears in the file
2a. Notice the found instance is highlighted yellow
3. Backspace that character in the Find box
3a. Notice that the found instance is now highlighted blue
4. Search again for the same single character used in step 2
4a. Notice that the next instance of that character is found (and highlighted yellow)
Note: This can also happen with words, if you can quickly erase the whole word.
What is the expected behavior?
What went wrong?
The search highlight gets turned into a selection highlight. When this happens, the document cursor is placed after the found instance. Then, when the user goes to search for the same thing again, the next instance is highlighted, instead of the first.
Did this work before? N/A

Able to reproduce this issue on Mac 10.12.6, Win-10 and Ubuntu 14.04 using chrome reported version #63.0.3239.132 and latest canary #65.0.3312.0. This is a non-regression issue as it is observed from M50 old builds. Hence, marking it as untriaged to get more inputs from dev team. Thanks...!!
