Able to reproduce the issue on Win-10 using chrome reported version #65.0.3298.3. Following are the steps followed to reproduce the issue. ------------ 1. Installed chrome version #65.0.3298.3 and browser opened with a chrome welcome page as described in comment#0 with [Open Windows Settings] link. Note: Couldn't create a new user account as it required admin rights to create the same. 2. Clicked on [Open Windows Settings] in the "Make Chrome your default browser" steps. 3. Followed the steps to change the default browser. 4. Clicked on [Open Windows Settings] again. 5. Observed that default apps window did not open again. Couldn't provide bisect for this issue as the chrome welcome page(as in comment #1) is not seen every time on installation of new chrome version and also a new user account can't be created as it require admin rights. Hence, marking it as untriaged and requesting someone from dev team to please have a look into the issue. Thanks...!! |
