Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3239.84 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. SCCM does a silent install of the enterprise MSI on user devices 2. install successful but few users can see Chrome.exe and New_Chrome.exe in the Install directory and when chrome restarts a UAC prompt appears for upgrading it to the new version where users dont have admin rights 3. ultimately users have to answer the UAC prompt whenever chrome is launched What is the expected behavior? Upgrade should have been performed without UAC prompts if the installation is successful What went wrong? UAC prompts for admin rights whenever chrome is launched by the user Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 63.0.3239.84 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version: 28.0.0.126

Hi. Could you please verify that you are not taking any steps to disable or remove Google Update? Generally, when we diagnose reports like this, we find that GU is being tampered with to prevent updates. If you wish to disable auto-updates, please be sure to use the documented policy controls.
