Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3239.108 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open chrome://bookmarks. 2. Under "Bookmarks bar", create a new folder called "test" or "chromium" or whatever. 3. While in the newly created folder, collapse "Bookmarks bar" on the folder menu on the left. What is the expected behavior? "Bookmarks bar" is collapsed on the folder menu, but the bookmarks manager remains in the newly created folder. What went wrong? When collapsing "Bookmarks bar" on the folder menu, you are jumped out to the "Bookmarks bar" parent folder. You cannot have the newly created folder open and "Bookmarks bar" collapsed in the folder menu at the same time. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 63.0.3239.108 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version: If the user wants to go back out to the parent folder, they can do so by clicking on "Bookmarks bar" itself (the parent folder name). There is no reason that collapsing "Bookmarks bar" on the folder menu should jump them out to the "Bookmarks bar" folder.

Works as intended. The selected folder has no indicator other than its active status in the sidebar, which is only visible when the parent folders are expanded. |
