Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3239.108 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Use laptop with touchscreen (in my case, a Dell Latitude 3340 with a touchscreen made by Elan Microelectronics (04f3:0256) 2. Tap on a link with your finger What is the expected behavior? Chrome navigates to the page as it would had I clicked on the link with a mouse. What went wrong? Occasionally and intermittently, Chrome will *download* the page as an html file (see bad.png for details). This doesn't happen always, or even sometimes, but every once in a while it will happen. Did this work before? Yes Unknown Chrome version: 63.0.3239.108 Channel: stable OS Version: 4.14.9 Flash Version: 28.0.0.126 I do not know why or when it happens. It is seemingly random.

Is it possible you're tapping long enough to click "Save Link As"? Can you include a network log ( https://dev.chromium.org/for-testers/providing-network-details ) when this happens? It may be specific to the server(s) you're using.
