Gif sharing is broken in chrome for android

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open gif image in chrome
2. Share gif to some messenger e.g WhatsApp/telegram
3. 

What is the expected behavior?
Gif shares as an  animation 

What went wrong?
Only one frame of the gif was shared

Did this work before? N/A 

Chrome version: 63.0.3239.111  Channel: stable
OS Version: 7.0
Flash Version: 

Tested same scenario in Firefox for android, GIFs sharing works well

Tested the issue in Android and could reproduce the issue.

Steps Followed:
1. Launched Chrome .
2. Opened Earth Gif
3. Saved it to drive
4. Animation is missing for saved image.

Chrome versions tested:
65.0.3306.0, 63.0.3239.111

OS
Android 7.0.0

Android Devices
7.0.0; SM- J710F Build/NRD90M

Considering this issue as Non-Regression issue as observing same behavior since M58.
