Not secure problem. can no longer use chrome at all.

Chrome Version       : 58.0.3029.110
OS Version: 10.0

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Searching any URL on google chrome
2.N/A
3.N/A

What is the expected result?
Page not secure warnings

What happens instead of that?
N/A

Unable to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 58.0.3029.110 and latest stable 63.0.3239.108 with steps mentioned in comment#0, as the chrome version you are using is out-dated, please update your chrome to latest stable version, you can download latest stabel from URL provided, URL:https://www.chromium.org/getting-involved/dev-channel

Please find the attached scrrencast for your reference, Can you please update your chrome to latest stable and try to test the issue with no apps and extensions in it and let us know if the issue still persists

i still have the issue. it is up to date i uninstalled and reinstalled before contacting you and have checked several times for an update and there is not an update for me to do. I still cannot search anything on chrome. Not even www.google.com

Unable to reproduce the issue on Win-10, mac 10.12.6 and ubuntu 14.04 using chrome latest stable #63.0.3239.108 and latest canary #65.0.3309.0.

Reporter@ - Could you please restart your system, uninstall the existing chrome version and install latest stable from the URL: https://www.chromium.org/getting-involved/dev-channel and please let us know if the issue still persists.

Hi, I am still having the same problems. It still will not load anything.
i am going to try doing a system restore on my laptop, to see if that helps the problem if something accidentally got downloaded.

Hi. the system restore has worked and brought it back up. something must have been blocking like a pop up or an accidental download. thanks for all your help anyway.
