[Restrict-View-Google] Screen is not switched to chrome when directed from weather widget

Chrome Version:63.x
OS: O-OS

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1)Select Weather widget.
(2)connect to web site by selecting city weather
(3)Select Chrome from popup to select the application to be used .

What is the expected result?
It should get switched to Chrome screen .

What happens instead?
It doesn't get switched to chrome screen .

Not able to reproduce the issue anymore.
In case it occurs again, will provide the new logs and complete details.
