Steps to reproduce the problem:
Hi, is there any way to disable favicons from my saved chrome bookmarks html file? (not disable from the bookmarks toolbar, but from the saved html file). i am asking because i am trying to import my bookmarks to chrome from that html file and every time it's freezing & crashing without importing, probably because the file size is too large, and if the favicons were removed, the file size would automatically become a lot less and would be easier to import.

Also, any other suggestion of importing bookmarks to chrome from a saved html file is welcome. any extension, maybe the C Drive---User----AppData---bookmark.bak     thingie? any other trick is welcome. i did not have my google account synced when i lost my bookmarks, so syncing is not gonna help now.  i only have an html file saved. 
Also any viewer extension that makes viewing the html bookmark file easier, would help too.
