Race condition creates incorrect history

Project Member Reported by mar...@mwiacek.com, Dec 28 2017

Issue description

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. https://pl.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Konstal_13N or other Wiki page with picture
2. click on the tram picture - it's opened in separate layout (OK)
3. refresh picture page and during refresh press "x" in right top corner - picture page is closed (OK), but later opened again (not OK)
4. press back button - picture page is opened again (not OK)

What is the expected behavior?
After pressing "x" nothing is added to the history and nothing more is done

What went wrong?
Refresh operation is not terminated

Did this work before? No

I'm refreshing page with gesture, video in attachment. Issue 100 % reproducible, S7 (but it seems device independent)

This is related to page navigation more-so than history. Refreshing then immediately tapping the 'x' button on an image seems like a fairly uncommon flow, and the failure condition isn't so bad (re-tap the 'x' button to close the image).
