2 days after I reported this problem, my Raspberry Pi started acting strangely and crashing, so I reinstalled the raspbian OS, then tried opening Chromium. It opened without error, and surely enough, the 'Customize and Control Chromium', and right/left-clicking anywhere showed what it was supposed to. As you can see in the previous 2nd image I uploaded, the 'Customize and Control Chromium' was highlighted when I clicked on it, but strangely never appeared. As with the 2 other images, they are supposed to show my mouse pointer highlighted over a link after a GUI was supposedly opened, but I suppose a Raspberry Pi doesn't include the pointer when taking a screenshot.

@Reporter: 56.0.2924.84 is outdated version. Could you please check the issue by upgrading to latest stable and report back. You can download latest stable from https://www.chromium.org/getting-involved/dev-channel.

I guess this is fixed in the latest Chromium then, since you were running an outdated 56.0.2924.84 before, but probably got the latest version when you reinstalled. I'm closing this issue out, but please let me know if the issue resurfaces and I can reopen the issue. |
