mousedown/pointerdown events doesn't fire with the hold key

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3239.84 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open http://jsfiddle.net/nd089xo3/1/ and open console 2. Click on the page, there are two events in the console 3. Hold a spacebar or some other button 4. Click on the page, there are no events What is the expected behavior? mousedown and pointerdown events are fired while holding spacebar What went wrong? events aren't fired Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 63.0.3239.108 Channel: n/a OS Version: 10 Flash Version: Work on Chrome & Mac

Unable to reproduce the issue on Win-10 using chrome reported version #63.0.3239.108 and latest canary #65.0.3305.0. Attached a screen cast for reference. Following are the steps followed to reproduce the issue. ------------ 1. Opened http://jsfiddle.net/nd089xo3/1/ and opened console 2. Clicked on the page, there are two events in the console 3. Hold a spacebar/shift button. 4. Clicked on the page and observed that events triggered without any issues. kataev@ - Could you please check the issue on latest canary #65.0.3305.0 by creating a new profile without any apps and extensions and please let us know if the issue still persist or not.
