Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3239.84 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Follow this link https://jsfiddle.net/2nuf8wmt/3/show/light/ 2. Trigger print of the web page (press "Ctrl + P"). 3. Save printout as PDF. What is the expected behavior? The right rectangle shouldn't contain artifact when user zoom in the PDF. What went wrong? If we zoom in the PDF we can see that the right rectangle contains artifacts. The same behavior we can notice if we greatly zoom in some JPG image. So, the right rectangle behaves more like a bitmapped image but should be fully vector, like the behavior of the left rectangle without transparent borders. Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? No The same behavior in the latest Firefox and the latest Chrome. Chrome version: 63.0.3239.84 Channel: n/a OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 28.0 r0 I noticed some problems if I try to print a web page that contains SVG with opacity. I created the example https://jsfiddle.net/2nuf8wmt/3/ Please, try to open it in the new window and print it to PDF https://jsfiddle.net/2nuf8wmt/3/show/light/ If you zoom in the right rectangle in the generated PDF you'll notice artifacts like in the bitmap images. I believe that SVG with opacity should be printed the same as opaque SVG and be fully vector.

You're right. Previously I generated PDF using Foxit Reader PDF plugin. When I tried to save PDF using built-in browser tool everything works correctly in Google Chrome 63.0.3239.132. It is not the bug in Chromium, but in the Foxit reader PDF plugin. Sorry for the mess. We can close this issue.
