Can you connect to the internet for any other purpose? That is, "ping" a popular site like google.com?

Disable all extensions and use an incognito window. Does that make a difference? If so, you probably have malware or some other misbehaving extension.

The inability to connect to any web site is almost certainly not a browser problem. I"m closing the bug but you can reopen it if you can connect using another browser and the problem persists with no extensions in incognito.
