Overview mode and Alt+Tab items size wrong when shelf is in auto-hide mode |
||||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionChrome Version: 64.0.3282.41 (Official Build) beta (64-bit) OS: Chrome OS What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Set shelf to auto-hide (2) Open 2-3 windows (3) Enter Overview mode (F5) or Alt+Tab What is the expected result? Windows are scaled down replicas of the original windows What happens instead? Windows are wrong sized and seem duplicated with the wrong size overlayed on the correct size. Please use labels and text to provide additional information. Could overview mode and alt+tab not get the work area size notifications as before? Things seem to be OK when shelf is not auto-hidden.

#1, seems like it, except note that this got into beta channel now and mentions Alt+Tab switcher that uses same scaling. I suggest duping into bug 789253 (which already has some discussion started) and mentioning Alt+Tab and beta there.

varkha@, which device you find this? It seems not every time can repro this. In bug 789253 , the theory is mesa update affects the minimap used for trifiltering in overview mode and window cycling.
