Able to reproduce the issue on Win-10 and Ubuntu 14.04 using chrome reported version #63.0.3239.108, latest dev #65.0.3298.3 and latest beta #64.0.3282.39 but the same is not reproducible in the latest canary #65.0.3301.0. Issue is not seen in OS-mac. Reverse Bisect Information: ===================== Good build: 65.0.3300.0 Bad Build : 65.0.3299.0 Change Log URL: https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+log/898a5a6e89457550e62d2612ab45cbf1d6087775..dc8531cb84f4d3334fc520c2c9269935a90d0c30 skia CL: https://skia.googlesource.com/skia.git/+log/0dec3af001ac..539040cbf9f6 Unable to find any possible suspect from the above CL. Hence, requesting someone from dev team to please help us in assigning it to the right owner and merge to M-64. Note: Adding RBS as it seems to be a recent regression. Please feel free to remove the same if not appropriate. Thanks...!!

Here's a reduced test case in #63.0.3239.108 https://codepen.io/chasebank/pen/KZgYXK The shifting doesn't seem limited to transitions or animations. Example toggles a .1px blur without transition.

Probably fixed by https://skia.googlesource.com/skia.git/+/bc9f3499c345ce59f8cd3889c580fa75db54034b Possible to merge? Desirable to merge?

I think this is https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=795528. That says it's probably too risky to merge back. |
