Textarea do not show in nested svg

Issue descriptionChrome Version : Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/62.0.3202.89 Safari/537.36 URLs (if applicable) : https://stackoverflow.com/questions/47922008/textarea-do-not-show-in-nested-svg Other browsers tested: Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you have tested this issue: Safari: Firefox: OK Edge: What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Create an SVG inside another SVG (2) Create foreignObject inside the child SVG element (3) Create textarea inside that foreignobject and limit the height and width What is the expected result? Ability to see the textarea What happens instead? The textarea disappears Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. additionally, in https://jsfiddle.net/jphvcsqg/ if I type enough chars in the <input>, the whole text I just typed disappear. an empty <input> shows

This happens when the <textarea> needs to be made scrollable. Could be a dupe of issue 771852 , but could also be issue 483497 . (The latter can be seen if typing enough text into the inner <input>.) Do you know if this used to work previously? (If it did, then it's likely a dupe of the former.)
