Desktop: Pause autoplaying muted video when invisible |

Issue descriptionPlayback of videos with the autoplay attribute are paused when offscreen and resumed when back in viewport. This is what is happening in Chrome for Android, Safari Desktop, and Safari Mobile. It would be great to have this behavior as well in Chrome Desktop for consistency.

+ojan@ because he cares :) It seems that we implement this behaviour when the unified autoplay is enabled and it's now enabled on trunk so it seems that Chrome desktop behaviour is similar to Safari desktop. I'm WontFix-ing this but please reopen if I misunderstood :) |
