Works fine in Chrome 64.0.3282.29 on a Nexus 5X running 8.1.0. Is this device specific? OS specific?

Could you provide screenshot? Could you ask testers check it with different configs? For me it looks more like web page error, but... maybe it's something else.

We are still waiting on test to confirm the range of affected devices. If we can't reproduce it we can't fix it, and to reproduce it we need to know what device(s) it manifests on. Does anyone on the paint team have a Pixel 2 to test with. I might be able to borrow one but I don't have one to debug on.

Works with M-63 on a Pixel 2 XL. Closing given lack of feedback about failing versions/devices.

Reopening, lack of answer from test team (which I'm not part of) especially after confirming bug seems to be not valid reason for rejecting it.

Are you saying the bug is still happening? At this point it seems to be a GPU issue in decoding the image, or some kind of race condition that only affects certain devices.
,
Jan 22 2018
Still happening (S7, latest Canary), if this is GPU decoding issue, maybe also https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=800071, https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=801895, https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=799762 are somehow related (if yes, I have nice device for reproducing them/checking fix)

Hi Dirk, could you help with triaging it? We need tester with more phones :)
,

@candrada - are you the right person to help find someone to do more triaging for this?

Working fine on a Pixel 2 now.

Well, I've just checked on S7 (Android 7) and Pixel (P preview) and image is definitely missed, I've checked also on few browser versions. Maybe it's just data replication error for Google sites, maybe something else, but I really hope to see more than "it works for me". |
