Issues with clip-path not clipping child elements

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3239.108 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Explanations in the test file.

What is the expected behavior?
First example should clip the video child, second should clip everything while child is animating, 3rd should clip the child div.

What went wrong?
Child elements aren't always clipping with the parent.

Did this work before? Yes 62

Does this work in other browsers? Yes

Chrome version: 63.0.3239.108  Channel: stable
OS Version: OS X 10.13.1
