Times disappear from history upon search

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3239.84 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. CTRL+H, notice the times are present
2. Enter a search term, notice now we are looking at day month year, even for today's items,

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
Even items from one and two minutes ago are now just all labeled with only today's date.

Did this work before? N/A

Able to reproduce this issue on reported version 63.0.3239.84, on latest stable 63.0.3239.108 and on latest canary 65.0.3300.0 dev using Windows 10 , Ubuntu 14.04 and Mac 10.13.1 as per steps mentioned in comment#0. i.e; Date is only seen instead of time on searching for any particular word

This issue is seen from M50[50.0.2166.0]. Hence considering this issue as Non-Regression and marking as Untriaged.
