Boot into chromium OS 2. Launch Manage Displays UI and set to extend mode (eDP+HDMI/DP) 3. Select HDMI/DP monitor and change the resolution (Eg 720x400) 4. Open system tray window, check Manage display setting and move the cursor to display settings. 5. Resolution values popup notification appears. What is the expected behavior? Resolution values should match with both Manage display and system tray What went wrong? Resolution values does not match Manage display and system tray. 1) Tested with Samsung 4k monitor (U28D590) 2) Rest of the other monitors shows properly. 3) Screen shots attached. 4) The following are configured resolutions on Manage displays setting and respective resolution shown under system tray window. This is probably happening because the notification uses the ManagedDisplayMode dimensions without the effective UI scale and effective device scale factor applied. This will be fixed with the introduction of Display Size feature.
