The video shows the user starting Chrome, which offers to restore closed tabs. Upon acceptance, another tab opens. The user closes that tab and then attempts to close the first tab. The first tab seems to close and immediately reopen. Henceforth attempting to close the tab just repeats the immediate reopen behavior and the Chrome window keeps taking focus such that attempting to type into another window results in the text going into the Chrome window.

This doesn't look like any sort of malicious behavior I've ever seen. It seems more likely that either this is an obscure UX bug or perhaps there's some other utility software running locally that is causing this problem.

Problem persisted after i restarted. It seemed to obligate me to login and sync chrome google session.

This bug has been closed for more than 14 weeks. Removing security view restrictions.
