Tried to access youtube.com was redirected to optimize-boot882-info.ml, this is specific to Chrome did not happen with IE

Reported by pvsen...@optusnet.com.au, Dec 15 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3239.108 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Searched for youtube on google
2. Clicked on link
3. automatically redirected to "optimize-boot882-info.ml" a fake "Microsoft" security site

What is the expected behavior?
Should have accessed Youtube site

What went wrong?
Redirected to this "ransomware" like site
optimize-boot882-info.ml
This did not happen when I repeated above using internet explorer

This has happened a couple of times before in the last week seem to be an external attack directed at Google/Google Chrome

Did this work before? Yes Fine yesterday

Chrome version: 63.0.3239.108 Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 28.0 r0

There is probably a different software affecting Chrome’s behavior. I doubt this is a bug in Chrome itself.

You likely have some malware or an extensionc ausing that behavior. Try running the chrome cleanup tool which can help you remove malware from your computer (See https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/2765944?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en)
