Regression: Vertical margin is larger now in the Omnibox Dropdown

Chrome Version: 65.0.3294.0 Canary
OS: macOS 10.12.6

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) type something into the Omnibox, so that the Drop Down appears
(2) take a look at the vertical margin
(3)

What is the expected result? What happens instead?
Is this experiment intended: chrome://flags/#omnibox-ui-vertical-margin ?
