Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3239.84 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open this Js Fiddle: https://jsfiddle.net/aniket_bhoyar/r85s092o/ 2. Add Tab / Spaces in between any two words till the text moves to next line. The spaces are being added at the end but Chrome visually collapses it. It does not cause the line to break and move the spaces to the next line. What is the expected behavior? It should cause the line to break and move the additional spaces to the next line. What went wrong? The spaces are being added at the end but Chrome visually collapses it. The issue is probably about the spaces themselves not being wrapped, but I see the same behavior in Firefox - the spaces extend past the right edge indefinitely.

You need to keep adding Tabs / Spaces in between any two words till the text moves to next line. Interpretation by 'woxxom' in Comment2 is correct: "The spaces extend past the right edge indefinitely."

Able to reproduce this issue on Mac 10.12.6, Win-10 and Ubuntu 14.04 using chrome reported version #63.0.3239.84 and latest canary #65.0.3298.3. This is a non-regression issue as it is observed from M50 old builds. Hence, marking it as untriaged to get more inputs from dev team. Thanks...!!

Can anyone in layout triage?

This is a known usability problem due to how line break works, across any applications such as Microsoft Word. Dup to issue 76113.
