Issue description

Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you
have tested this issue:
Safari:
Firefox:ok , quantum version
Edge:
What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1)Simply opening a browser window in chrome

What is the expected result?
Home page should load
What happens instead?
No homepage loads, and it gets stuck at "downloading proxy script"
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if

i reset all settings to default but the problem still persists

bhuvneshsolanki98@ Thanks for the issue. Tested this issue on Windows 10, Mac OS 10.12.6 and unable to reproduce the issue. Downloaded Chromium build 64.0.3262.0 and able to launch the chromium browser without any issues. Attached is the screen cast for reference. Request you to please check and update if anything is missed from our end in reproducing the issue. Also request you to please uninstall-reinstall Chromium, retry the issue and update the thread with the observations. Thanks..
