Unable to reproduce this issue on reported version 63.0.3239.84 using Mac 10.13.1 with below mentioned steps. 1. Extracted added zip file and opened html file. 2. Observed playing of gif file with no jumps. Attaching screencast for reference. @Reporter: Could you please check the video and let us know if we miss anything. And also could you please check the steps on fresh profile which doesn't have extensions/apps and report back. This will help in further triage of the issue. Thanks!

Sorry for my poor English to express the issue clearly. I use the browser Chrome of version 63.0.3239.84.This problem happened when I use HTML's <div> of column, the place where gif is loaded was just beyond the height of a column and needed to warp. But this issue will not occur to my colleage using the version 62.0.3202.75.Please slide the scrollbar to the right, you'll see the problem. 2017-12-13 21:22 GMT+08:00 sc00335… via monorail < monorail+v2.3058424708@chromium.org>:

I tried reverting my change (https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/a99bfdf79831dea44584325e6669977d6ba8ddd6) locally, and the problem didn't reappear. I haven't been able to get it to happen anywhere outside of 63.0.3239.x builds. This seems like it's a relatively rare bug. It's unfortunate that this is happening in stable builds, but I don't think this is worth investigating further because it should be fix in Chrome 64+. Marking WontFix, feel free to reopen if anyone strongly disagrees. |
