PDF printing issue

Reported by juan.zh...@cneglobal.net, Dec 12 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.116 Safari/537.36 Edge/15.15063

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. open a 10X10 cm parcel label PDF file in Chrome Explorer
2. Then print it out from a printer

What is the expected behavior?
The label should be printed out same direction as it was shown on the PDF file

What went wrong?
The 10X10 cm parcel label was printed out by rotating 90 degree resulting the texts on it were messed up. This did not happen in Firefox and Internet Explorers.

Did this work before? N/A

Chrome version: 52.0.2743.116 Channel: n/a
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version:

I opened a 10X10 cm parcel label PDF file in Chrome Explorer then print it out from a printer. The label should be printed out same direction as it was shown on the PDF file but it was printed out by rotating 90 degree resulting the texts on it were messed up. This did not happen in Firefox and Internet Explorers. Can you reply to juan.zheng@cneglobal.net regarding the possible resolution please? Thank you.

Unable to reproduce the issue on chrome stable version 63.0.3239.132 using windows 7 with the below mentioned steps.
1. Launched chrome
2. Downloaded the file provided in comment#2
3. Opened the downloaded file>Ctrl+P
We are able to print the file with out any 90 degree rotation. Attaching the copy/photo of print for reference.

@Reporter: Could you please check the same on latest stable and let us know if the issue still exists. Any further inputs from your end may help us.

Thanks!

Hi Vamshi, we've tried again. The problem is still persisting. Please refer to the attached sample step 1, step 2 shows the correct direction, then step 3 shows the wrong result once we physically print it from a printer we got the label rotated for 90 degree. The Chrome Explorer we are using is version 63.0.3239.132, the latest. Please check and advise. Thank you.

Unable to reproduce the issue from TE end

Can anyone from the Internals>Printing tean please have a look at this issue.

Thanks!
1) Does the same problem occur when you print to a normal printer instead of a label printer?

2) If you turn off "Fit to Page" (适合页面大小) then what happens?
Please see the attached photos of correct printing result and wrong printing result

We've tried normal printer many times and tried again just now turn off 'fit to page' as well, we also tried different computers, but we are still getting the same result as the photo 'wrong printing result-10X10 label'. This did not happen with Internet Explorer or Firefox. Please check again with this link which has multiple labels http://label.cnexps.com/CnePrint?icID=11178&cNums=9L25096578592,9L25096578608,9L25096578615&ptemp=label10x10_0&signature=cffefb1ba0b86872e5e6dc4003069182&t=3
Further to my comments, we've tried single label and multiple labels on the same printing, we got the same wrong result.

As per comment#8 and 11 issue is not reproducible from TE end. Hence adding TE-NeedsTriageHelp for further investigation from dev team. Could someone from Internals>Printing team please have a look at this issue.
Dear team, please refer to all my recent comments. Can you confirm whether you can open and view the link http://label.cnexps.com/CnePrint?icID=11178&cNums=9L25096578592,9L25096578608,9L25096578615&ptemp=label10x10_0&signature=cffefb1ba0b86872e5e6dc4003069182&t=3
If you can open the link, then you should be able to just click print. Then the issue will be reproduced.

Hi team, I wonder whether you have any progress or update on the issue. Thank you.
