Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/62.0.3202.94 Safari/537.36 Platform: (latest) Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Plug mobile device into Chrome OS device 2. Allow device to connect via USB 3. Allow device to sync on Chrome OS 4. All the images in DCIM is synchronized to Google Drive What is the expected behavior? We are in an enterprise environment and expected an option to turn off auto sync between drive and mobile devices. This option is not available and it is causing us a lot of grief. Students are mistakenly syncing their entire cell phone photo album to Google drive unknowingly. There has been a few report cases of parents doing this. What went wrong? Teachers, Students, and Parents are unknowingly uploading all their images off their mobile devices onto Google Cloud. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 62.0.3202.94 Channel: stable OS Version: 62 Flash Version: N/A We are looking for an option in the Admin Console to disable USB Cloud Sync.

zalcorn@ what's the expected behavior here in general?

The expected behavior is we need a way to turn this "feature" off via enterprise enrollment settings. Even though there are multiple notifications that data will be synced to Google Drive, people are still accepting them without reading and it is resulting in issues across our district.

Marking as triaged since it seems that the right component has been picked and that the right people are looking into it.

Any update on this issue? I'd like to see it implemented before the next school year.

Hi - This feature request is in our backlog. However, we currently do not have an estimate for when it might be implemented.
