[gFeedback Feature request] Open link in Chrome local to the desktop instance

Project Member Reported by jainabhi...@chromium.org, Dec 12 2017

Issue description

Windows 10 supports multiple desktops. I run multiple instances of google chrome - one instance on several of the desktops. That way content appropriate to the desktop is on the appropriate desktop. Sound appropriate? lol

If I click a link within a email (app on desktop 1) and I have a chrome instance on desktop 1, but also a chrome instance on desktop 5, the link is opened within the chrome instance on desktop 5, not the one local to desktop 1.

This is a PITA, as it switches desktops without need and without consent, and without my knowledge.

Please consider using a chrome instance local to the desktop. I'd even prefer a new instance of chrome be opened on said desktop vs. using a chrome instance on a different desktop...
