Chrome Version : 63.0.3239.84
URLs (if applicable) : http://www.dpd.fr
Other browsers tested:
Safari: NA
Firefox: NA
Edge: NA
What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Load http://www.dpd.fr using an English-speaking account
(2) The translation bar appears, suggesting that machine translation be applied to the page.
What is the expected result?
This particular site, like many others, is available in "English" (http://www.dpd.fr/?lang=en) and "Deutsch" (http://www.dpd.fr/?lang=de) versions (see header). In this case, I would prefer that the translate mechanism should instead suggest that users speaking these languages should use these links instead of the machine-generated translation.
What happens instead?
Machine-generated translation links are suggested.
In addition, the window obscures the links to the "English" and "Deutsch" versions, making it more difficult to discover that they exist.
