I am experiencing this issue with going from GMAIL to the https sites.. Amazon and other various sites that are https. And yes it is Chrome, Google search and Samsung browser. I think it might be an outdated certification or something similar.

Thanks for your feedback. Gmail (as an Android app) uses system's webview which is also based on Chromium, but there's some transition point when you are navigating from Gmail contents to the destination site which Chrome is showing the page. I'm not sure whether it is happening in webview or Chrome, but would like to defer someone in network team to take deeper look. I do not experience the error personally, so it probably depends on the environment. Any further details (e.g. model of your phone, Android OS version, etc.) would be appreciated.

Setting WontFix. This sounds like a bug better reported to Android, along with the sites you're trying to access. That it manifests in GMail, Chrome, and the Samsung Browser are strong indicators that it is a system-level configuration; either the site you're accessing is not trusted by Android (because the issuing CA has not applied to be included in Android), it's misconfigured, or you or a person with access to your device has distrusted one or more CAs.

How do I check if the certificate is valid or missing? If so, how do I go about getting another certificate? Please help.. Thank you

The fact that you're encountering it across all browsers indicates something wrong with your device's configuration. I believe https://source.android.com/setup/report-bugs may be appropriate if you believe this was not intentional. Alternatively, see https://support.google.com/nexus/answer/2844832?hl=en (Advanced -> Work with CA Certificates) and ensure that you have not disabled any "System" CA certificates

Thanks for the assistance. I found the certificate that was disabled. It was one of 4 that had been disabled. I am confused as to why it was disabled??? Thank you for your help |
