how
Just select-all, copy, and paste works.

It looks like the full text didn't come through in that comment.

Can you send the comment online at

I can try but not sure how , hope to figure it out

Comment 18 by pji...@gmail.com, Dec 14 2017

I did copy and paste did that work
Cc: capn@chromium.org sugoi@chromium.org
Looks like we're falling back to swiftshader:
> Drivers older than 2009-01 on Windows are possibly unreliable: 72979, 89802, 315205

It looks like WebGL is still enabled, though, so I don't know why the content would be broken.
+capn +sugoi

I also can't tell whether this workaround is expected. When there's a swiftshader fallback we can't see the PCI info for the original hardware anymore.
Cc: zmo@chromium.org

Labels: Needs-Bisect Needs-TestConfirmation
They could also be using failIfMajorPerformanceCaveat. So it's possible that if something changed which caused this workaround to get triggered, it would break content. +zmo for blacklist decision changes.

Note this could be a Bug and not a Bug-Regression, if Bubble Witch 3 Saga made a change which broke their swiftshader compatibility.

TE: Could you please test whether there is a regression between M62 and M63 on Bubble Witch 3 Saga? Any Windows machine will do. In both cases, please run Chrome with --use-gl=swiftshader

Comment 21 by pji...@gmail.com, Dec 14 2017

damn well that was as clear as mud. Ok well I just wont use game room any
more, I will figure out a diff game to play that doesnt require it. I know
when I play pet rescue it ask me to use an older version of Chrome, and I
can play it , 3 of the other KING games there is no option.
Sorry, I wasn't addressing you. We are looking into the issue and we will let you know if we need any more feedback from you.

Pet Rescue may require Flash, so that problem is probably unrelated.
Unable to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 63.0.3239.84 on windows10 with steps mentioned below

Steps followed to reproduce the issue:
1) Launched reported chrome version from terminal with "--use-gl=swiftshader"
2) logged in into fb
3) Searched for Bubble Witch Saga 3 and click on play
4) Game played as expected
5) Now clicked on play Bubble Witch Saga 3 from game room
6) Facebook game room got opened and able to play the game eas expected

@Reporter:
Please find the attached screencast for your reference and let us know if we missed anything in reproducing this issue, please try to test this issue by creatig new person with do not have apps and extensions in it and let us know if th eissue still persists

Thanks!

Did you happen to download gameroom and play it? I am asking because if I
play it directly on Facebook it plays but if I down load the app gameroom
that's when it wouldn't work , but that's on my PC, it used to be way
faster . But on my tablets I just play it from the app

I'm sorry, this sounds like a problem in Facebook's Gameroom app. Please report it to Facebook.

Sorry, I didn't realize Facebook Gameroom was a standalone native app outside the browser. Yes, this should be reported to Facebook. Please point them at this bug, as it may help them diagnose the issue. It sounds like for these web games, they're shipping some kind of web shell like Electron. They probably need to hook in SwiftShader or something for software rendering.
