Project Member Reported by chromium...@appspot.gserviceaccount.com, Dec 8 2017

Issue description

"ios_net_unittests" is flaky.

This issue was created automatically by the chromium-try-flakes app. Please find the right owner to fix the respective test/step and assign this issue to them. If the step/test is infrastructure-related, please add Infra-Troopers label and change issue status to Untriaged. When done, please remove the issue from Sheriff Bug Queue by removing the Sheriff-Chromium label.

We have detected 8 recent flakes. List of all flakes can be found at https://chromium-try-flakes.appspot.com/all_flake_occurrences?key=ahVzfmNocm9taXVtLXRyeS1mbGFrZXNyHAsSBUZsYWtlIhFpb3NfbmV0X3VuaXR0ZXN0cww.

The chromium-try-flakes app is able to file bugs for individual tests when the test launcher is uploading results to the Test Results Server. If recent flakes above are caused by failing tests and you would like to have them filed as invidual bugs, please read more at https://goo.gl/QJKXV4.

This flaky test/step was previously tracked in issue 709374 .

-> sergeyberezin: the wave of expired tasks from 2017-12-21 appears to be coincident w/ https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/16a70c79f8e57d40b88a7792fadbc488250ab3b4. Could that have been responsible for a large number of expiring tasks on ios-simulator? (If so, is it safe to say this was a one-time event and that we can WontFix this?)

Detected 4 new flakes for test/step "ios_net_unittests". Somehow I missed this at the time... I'm not sure if the flakes were related to my change earlier. On Dec 21, they failed due to not enough capacity (I don't remember if there was a general outage at the time). Another batch of failures happened on Jan 8 where a bunch of tests failed because they couldn't get the test results, even though the swarming tasks succeeded. So far this seems random to me, and not related to the test or infra per se.

Marking as WontFix for now.
