OS: Chrome
1) When you press Search + Slash to open Find in Page in ChromeVox, the hint text is super super low contrast. I know this is hint text and is not supposed to be white in this case, but I can't read it. For any low vision users / sighted teachers, we should make this more visible with better contrast.
2) When you hover over the X button in the top right of the panel, we should display a tooltip that says "Disable ChromeVox Screen Reader" or something along those lines, to make this more clear for sighted users who accidentally enabled the screen reader.
3) We should add a tooltip for the Settings icon, as well
4) When you use the mouse to click on the left button to open the menus, currently the whole menu UI is showing up blank except for the menu tabs. You then have to use the mouse to hover over the tab titles to see the list items in each menu. IMO, when you click on that button to launch the menus, you should be brought to the same view as if you pressed Search + Period: with focus on the Jump menu, with the Jump menu list displayed.
5) Again, if you click on the menu button to open the menus, if you click on a given menu (e.g. Jump) to make it stick and then be able to use keyboard for example, it closes the menus all together. IMO, the menus shouldn't close if you click on one of the menu headers. They should close if you click on the button on the top left again. That icon consistently shows a down arrow, and it would be great if we could make it an up arrow when the menus are open to indicate that you can press it to close/minimize the menus again. (currently does not work)
David, Dominic, any thoughts on these?
