A few questions:

- Which distro is this? Ubuntu Trusty 14.04?
- Can you please run the following in a terminal window and tell me the output: 'gsettings get org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences button-layout'
- If you open any other app (settings, terminal window etc), are the buttons on the left or the right?
1) Yes, it is Ubuntu Trusty 14.04
2) Please find the attached screenshot for the output for "gsettings get org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences button-layout"
3) Please find the attached screenshot for system settings and Terminal window, the buttons are on the left top of the window (from the beginning we are seeing the same behavior for system settings and Terminal window)

Thanks for the report and the updated information.

This is indeed WAI. The change was to make chrome actually follow the settings you use on the desktop. Both the gsettings that you shared and the button layout on other windows show this is working correctly.
