What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Visit the site bacon-side-nav.surge.sh
(2) Using a switch device, click the hamburger button to open the side-nav
(3) Using a switch device, try to navigate into the side-nav

What is the expected result?
A user can focus the interactive elements in the side-nav

What happens instead?
Focus never travels into the side-nav. Assuming this is because the side-nav uses CSS transform to animate on screen, which doesn't trigger layout.
