This is the remote NTP - the local NTP doesn't have this kind of promos.

So, the underlying problem is that the promo takes up some space when it appears, which can cause a row of tiles to vanish. I see the following options, none of them very desirable:

1) Wait with showing the tiles until we know if there's a promo. Downside: The promo comes over the network and can take an arbitrary amount of time. We don't want to delay the NTP that much.

2) Always reserve space for a promo. Downside: On small-screen devices like this, the tiles would never show up.

3) Just drop promos on the remote NTP now. The local NTP won't have them, so maybe it's not such a big deal if they go away a bit earlier.

Max, WDYT? Any other ideas?

Interesting, thanks for reporting this! Given that the new local NTP will launch soon (target M65) and since this only occurs at the ~560px and ~700px height breakpoints I think that we shouldn't invest time in finding a temporary solution.

Decreasing prio based on the comment above. Let's still keep it open until the local NTP is launched.
