Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3239.84 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Go to http://youtube.com
2. Left-click a video
3.

What is the expected behavior?
The next page should load and the video should start playing.

What went wrong?
The next page doesn't load and the video doesn't start playing.

Did this work before? Yes The version previous to 62.0.3202.94

Chrome version: 62.0.3202.94 Channel: stable
OS Version: Linux Mint 18.3
Flash Version: 1:20171114.1

I really like Chrome / Chromium. This bug is tremendously frustrating. I've had to resort to installing Vivaldi to get youtube to act right.

Tested on Linux Mint 18.3 and unable to reproduce.

OP does the issue still reproduce on Chrome 63? If so, could you provide more detailed repro steps?

@ bluesfreak72-- Could you please respond to comment #5 and update the thread accordingly.

Thanks!
I installed Ubuntu Unity Desktop and the problem went away. IDK.
