(1) Install a theme such as https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/%D0%BF%D0%BB%D1%8F%D0%B6/pldjedicbnjmccbpbgbiddfbgilpgmgm?hl=en (2) Create a new browser window or new tab What is the expected result? Might be related to bug 21798 , maybe worth re-checking after that one's finally fixed for good (should be Really Soon Now).

Assigning to ccameron@ as this smells like a compositor issue that has already been addressed or will be addressed soon. CC'ing sdy@ as well.

This should be much better from two things - issue 840173 : unified compositor, so we have less work to do - issue 845213 : UI GPU rasterization, so we do the remaining work faster There is also one more piece of work which is coming down the pipe - issue 848952: don't use CPU to clear GPU memory Marking as fixed (it's much better on my machine) -- if this still feels slow, please re-open. |
