Maybe the underline, though rightly linked, is wrongly skewing the totals?

Here the <strong> area should be at least 222px high, no? But it says 198.

Unable to reproduce this issue on reported version 63.0.3239.40 and on latest dev 64.0.3278.0 using Ubuntu 14.04 with steps mentioned below. Attaching screenshot for reference. 1. Opened attached html file present in comment#4. 2. Opened devtools and hovered on Strong tag and observed 222x246 only. @Reporter: Could you please check the screenshot and let us know if we miss anything. This would help in further triaging of the issue. Thanks!

comment 4 and the original issue seem to be different problems. I believe comment 4 is due to font and OS rendering differences. There are a lot of reasons for element height so I can't debug it from here. The original issue (about formatting) is separate and I agree that is not ideal. We don't have a plan to fix the copypaste of these values soon, as it's not a very common operation for our users.

Oops I see my screenshots were meant for https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=792531

Sorry. All I know is I opened two bug reports and pasted various things into each. https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=791327 https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=792531 The interesting conclusion is that on Linux the linked height of the box doesn't reach as high as it should. |
