Starting with [1], some browser tests use ScopedInterfaceFilterBypass to disable filtering of interface requests coming from renderer processes, so that these requests are always let through and bound.

We should investigate if such a heavy-handed approach is really needed, or if we could just set up the Connector with permissive-enough service manifests for browser tests.
