hterm: Can't iterate cursor over words anymore

Project Member Reported by riesa@google.com, Dec 6 2017

Issue description

Chrome Version: 62.0.3202.94
OS: Mac OS X 10.12.6

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Log into remote SSH session
(2) Type in a few words
(3) Use option + left-arrow key to jump backwards one word at a time (as opposed to one character at a type)

What is the expected result?
Option + left-arrow key: Cursor should move left one word at a time
Option + right-arrow key: Cursor should move right one word at a time

What happens instead?
Option + left-arrow key: Observe a "D" entered on the terminal instead of the correct action being taken.
Option + right-arrow key: Observe a "C" entered on the terminal instead of the correct action being taken.

i'm fairly certain you mean cmd+arrows and not option+arrows. please see this thread:
