Extra verbiage on pages using Jaws 18 |
||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionOS: Windows Reported feedback from Googler, anecdotally reproducing across Chrome versions. "Lots of extra verbiage. For example, there are tons of indications of frames, regions, etc. For example, go to go/benefits. There is a “banner” and “banner end” above and below “US Benefits.” There is a “Search Region” and “Search Region End” above and below the search box. I can understand how some of this information is useful but on the whole it makes the page super cluttered."

This behavior seems to be controlled by the screen reader and Chrome's presentation appears to be consistent with standards and other browsers. I am marking as won't fix, but feel free to comment with an example where Chrome differs from other browsers and we will test again. |
