[Missing Tests] : Google/Chrome uses deprecated SecIdentitySearchCreate and SecIdentitySearchCopyNext

Automated tests for the below commit have been missing.Would it be possible to add test coverage to avoid regressions in future?

No. It's not possible to synthetically test this, as it has system wide effect.

Further, this class of bugs only manifest when interacting with specific hardware combinations and third-party software combinations, meaning manual testing is infeasible.
