Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/64.0.3278.0 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Download a factory image of Android 6 (Marshmallow) 2. Run an app using a WebView in debug mode with USB Debugging enabled. 3. Go to chrome://inspect in the latest version of Chrome on desktop and click to inspect the device's WebView What is the expected behavior? The devtools should open and be usable What went wrong? The devtools rendered incorrectly and did not function as they should Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 64.0.3278.0 Channel: dev OS Version: OS X 10.12.6 Flash Version: To get working devtools, I had to track down a Mac build of Chromium 44 and run it (matching the version of Chrome that the WebView was using on the device)

The web platform changes, and breaks backward compatibility sometimes. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything here. Sorry. |
