Revert created without me doing anything

Issue descriptionToday I've noticed that there is a revert that looks like I created it: https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/v8/v8/+/766753. However, I haven't created this revert which is also seen by the lack of the revert message from me on the original CL. Revert was indeed created by machenbach@, but that is a separate CL that has already been landed by that time: https://chromium.googlesource.com/v8/v8/+/45e52d520b2de919c9b28174d721b148cd9b46c7. I am not sure whether my account has been hijacked or whether this is some bug in Gerrit. Just in case I'll change my password, but it would be nice if someone investigated this from the server logs.

That was actually me who created this bug, but somehow I've used my personal account for it.

I have no idea how that change got created, but it's definitely something you did on a command line. It has all the footers from machenbach@'s landed change, so it looks like you fetched his commit and then re-uploaded it with a "-r sergiyb" to add that R= line. This doesn't seem to be a gerrit bug. Without more insight into what you were doing in your local checkout at 11:53 on Nov 13, there's nothing I can do here. |
