Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:57.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/57.0 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Click the down arrow on any input[type='date'] (e.g. https://jsfiddle.net/3dyemv92/ ) 2. Compare design to that of other material design elements (attached image) What is the expected behavior? The calendar that appears should be in Material Design, perhaps more closely match that of calendar.google.com What went wrong? The appearance is still that of older Google products Did this work before? No Chrome version: Version 62.0.3202.94 (Official Build) (64-bit) Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 27.0 r0 I did file this as 776364, but missed the comment asking for any example URL.

We don't have any plan to work on updating the HTML form widget to conform with material design.

Now Chrome Canary is undergoing a massive Material redesign and _still_ has the same datepicker. "We don't have any plan to work on updating the HTML form widget to conform with material design." OK, well how does it become part of the plan then? |
