Sync Zoom profiles with Chrome profile.

Reported by desrosie...@gmail.com, Dec 4 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3239.70 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Log in to Chrome account.
2. Zoom in on a bunch of websites
3. Try and start a new instance after re-syncing, and expect zooms to be remembered.

What is the expected behavior?
Zoom profiles for given domains would be persisted in the Chrome profile with other sync data.

What went wrong?
My zoom profiles I not saved and I need to re-do all preferred zoom settings.

Did this work before? No

Chrome version: 63.0.3239.70 Channel: beta
OS Version: 6.3
Flash Version:

I run a 30" monitor at 2560x1600. I don't even run Chromium at that size, but it's still large enough to require zooming many site just so they have less "dead space" in the gutters.

I suffered a system crash recently and had to re-initialize Chromium. After logging in bookmarks, extensions, etc. were restored, but my zoom settings on various domains were reset.

I'd like for these settings to be persisted with the profile as well please. Thanks!

Changing this issue into feature request.
I have one objection to this suggestion though: Syncing zoom level would mean that all devices would have the same zoom level. For example 30" desktop, laptop and phone will show website at 150%.

Yeah, Pavel's comment in #1 is exactly what I thought of as well. Per-domain zoom settings feels like something that many users may *not* want to sync across different devices with different screen sizes/dimensions.

Nicolas - thoughts? I'm inclined to mark this as WontFix.
I understand how it may cause unexpected behaviour. I don't personally use the sync on multiple devices so I guess I overlooked the possibility. I suppose splitting by device is not feasible, but after searching, there may be extensions that do what I'm looking for. Thanks folks.

Sounds good, closing out in that case.
